Sentimental Designs...

I am surely blessed to know so many creative talented people and I am always so inspired by what they are working on! One of my friends from church, Tara Ross, has a business called Sentimental Designs and I recently ask her what creative things she was up to and she was kind enough to share some photos of some things she has been working on for an upcoming show she will be at with her designs.

Tara is a busy wife and mother or four and after her twins were born she decided to go back to school to get her associates degree in interior design.  She offers her interior design services, home staging, and furniture refurbishing and she does wonderful work. If you have an interesting piece of furniture that you just don't know what to do with, Tara is your gal!

One of my favorite pieces is one that she donated this past summer to a silent auction we had at the end of our Creative Arts Camp at church to help a young family.  It was a chair she painted and the seat was woven out of different textured belts, it was very cool! Not only is Tara a great mom and wife but she also uses her gifts planning lots of cool crafts for our week of camp at church every summer!

If you would like to see more of Tara's pieces she will be at the Keepsake Collection Folk Art & Craft Show at Waterford Mott high school (my old alma mater) on the corner of Pontiac Lake Rd. and Scott Lake Rd. from 9am to 3:30pm on November 16th. She also mentioned that her Father will be joining her at the show (creativity must run in the family) with cool things he makes out of barn wood so they are sure to have lots of creative things to check out.  If you go, make sure to stop by her booth and say hello!

Be inspired!
