Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail...

I don't know about you, but I am so over winter!  It has been a looooonnnngggg cold, snowy winter here in Michigan and spring can't come soon enough in my opinion. I don't remember a time when I longed for spring more!

Since Christmas, I have not done much crafting. I have a few pieces of furniture that I want to re-do but because it has been cold it has been hard to work in the garage on big things, and my basement is temporarily filled with my kids furniture and things. But since I have been longing for spring, I decided to make some spring crafts, I don't know if it will make spring come any sooner, but it makes me hopeful!

I decided to make some cute Easter crafts for my Niece Madeleine and of course while you are making one, it is just as easy to make several, so I decided to make some for my Etsy store too!  I started with a cute felt Easter Bunny, that looks like a chocolate one, but is a lot healthier, and will last a lot longer!  I found some cute baskets on clearance at a store going out of business in my neighborhood and they fit the bunnies perfect.  I found the perfect size basket bag at Michaels so and I added a cute hand stitched egg, or chick and a few plastic eggs so it will be easy to add a little candy or money to the eggs and you will have an adorable complete gift for a special child, grandchild, niece or nephew!

My second project was a cute garland to decorate my house with for Easter.  I thought I would hang mine on my mantel, but it would also look cute on the front of a white or pastel table cloth for your Easter buffet! The little bunnies, chicks, eggs, and carrots turned out so cute I decided to put some in my Easter baskets I made!

And my third project was a funny puffy white egg shaped bunny.  I just love bunnies, and this one is really soft and cute and reminds me of spring!  He would look great in a larger basket for Easter morning!  And all of these would make cute table decorations for a mantel or for an Easter Buffet centerpiece!

If you are interested in any of these handmade Easter crafts you can visit my Etsy store by clicking here... or the tab at the top of the page.  I don't have enough crafts to do a spring craft show, but if you know me and are interested in stopping by to check out some of my bunnies for Easter gifts for your special kids, grand kids, or nieces and nephews in your life, just call my cell phone at Bunny Central for the friends and family discount (20% off)!  I have green, yellow, and pink baskets too choose from!

Happy (almost) Spring!
