I found some great chalkboard signs, Christmas sheet music, and quotes that I decided to frame for my gifts. I picked up the frames at the local goodwill store, and dollar store for just a few bucks, cleaned them up and sprayed them fun colors. With a pretty coordinating ribbon I think these will make great inexpensive gifts! And they turned out so cute, I made extra for my upcoming craft show! We would love to hear some of your homemade gifts you are working on this year!
First I disassembled my frames washed and dried the glass inserts
And sprayed the frames
Make a cute holiday print, or find a free printable online,
I made 5" x 7" and 8 x 10" prints
Cut to size of frame opening
When frames are dry, insert into frame
Isn't it cute!
I decided to glitter the red frames to make it look snow kissed :)
you know I love me some Mod Podge!
Add a decorative coordinating bow and you have
yourself some beautiful framed Christmas art that would be
nice sitting on a foyer or accent table, or hanging on the wall
If you give these a try, let me know. I would love to hear some of your homemade gifts you are working on for Christmas this year!
Getting crafty,
Sandy
