This was a simple Christmas treat to make that is a perfect mix between sweet and salty. I had some boy scout microwave popcorn that my mother-in-law gave us so it was a perfect way to use some of it! This would be fun to set out at a party in a festive bowl, or bag it up in little bags for special Christmas treats for your nieces and nephews... but just make sure you make a little for yourself!
Pop some microwave popcorn, I think I popped 3 bags and
spread it on a parchment lined jelly roll pan
Melt some green and red chocolate wafers in the microwave.
I used pasty bags to melt them in and just squeezed as I melted them,
but if you don't have pastry bags, simply melt in a glass bowl
and drizzle with a spoon
Drizzle Chocolate over popcorn and toss to coat. I drizzled the red and green at the same time and when I tossed it the colors got a little muddy.
Next time I make it, I might do a red batch and a green batch then
combine together after they harden to keep the colors cleaner
Toss to coat and sprinkle with holiday jimmies if desired
Enjoy your festive Christmas treat!
