Tasty Turkey Meatloaf

A healthier alternative to regular meatloaf, this Tasty Turkey Meatloaf has a little salsa added to it to give it a little extra kick and it is only 3 points + for each slice on the Weight Watcher plan. It is a great dinner to keep yourself on track between holiday parties!

Tasty Turkey Meatloaf 
1 pound ground turkey breast
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1/2 cup fat free salsa
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 large egg
1 tsp. garlic herb seasoning blend
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup ketchup

Directions:  Mix all ingredients except ketchup in a bowl until well blended. Press into a sprayed loaf pan and spread the 1/4 cup ketchup on top of meat loaf.  Bake for about 1 hour at 350 degrees (it might take a little longer if you are baking something else in the oven with it)

8 slices - 3 points + per slice (only 6 points + per 2 slice serving!) 

 Mix eggs, chopped onion and ground turkey in a medium size bowl

Add salsa

Stir in oatmeal, garlic blend, salt and pepper until 
well incorporated with the meat

Press into a loaf pan

Spread 1/4 cup ketchup on top of meat mixture

Bake the meatloaf in a 350 degree oven for about an hour and 15 minutes.
Let the meatloaf set for about 10 minutes 
and then slice into 8 slices with a serrated knife.
