Glazed Pearl Onions

Simply delicious!  That is how I would describe these sweet caramelized onions!  As I was scouring through my old recipe box today, I came across this recipe for Glazed pearl onions and I remembered I had some in my freezer that I bought to use over the holidays for creamed onions (a Shaw family favorite) and never made them.  This was a great way to use them up, and boy was it quick to put together! Everyone really liked them... I would give them 2 thumbs up and will definitely be making them again soon!

Glazed Pearl Onions

1 TBS. parsley flakes (or minced fresh parsley)

Directions: Thaw and drain the pearl onions.  In a large skillet saute the thawed onions in butter until tender. Add brown sugar and mustard and cook for 2 minutes longer.  Sprinkle with parsley. Enjoy!
